The Crows were first mentioned by a dying soldier in a Crimson settlement. When Jakob asked who slaughtered the inhabitants, the soldier replied with "Crows" and that they wanted the Atlantian Pilot. Meanwhile, Grieta spots Liv, Kiano and Elja carrying the pilot back to the Refugium.
Moments later, when the Origines prepared to defend their home, screams could be heard in the forest, before revealing the Crows. Jakob tries to negotiate, but it fails, and the Crows end up slaughtering the entire tribe, except for a few. After gathering the captured survivors, Varvara tells them if they knew where the Atlantian Cube was. The rest of the survivors are taken to Brahtok.
